Why I am proud of my country.

Are you proud of your country?

Author’s note: Think about this are you proud of your country for what we’ve accomplished, or how all the men and women in the military have done so much for their country? Because I know I do. I am proud of my country.

I am proud of my country. Why, because we have freedom, freedom of speech, a good army and independence.  On the 4th of July we celebrate our country being independent. In 1776, July 4 we became independent. Not having to be a part of another country but being independent. That is why I am proud of my country.

Are you ever thankful? Just ask yourself that are you? Well I am because we have freedom, freedom of speech, independence and a great army. And no matter what happens we should just always be thankful and even being proud for what we have.

The United States is lucky to have freedom, because in other countries they don’t. While we have freedom, other countries have slavery and wars going on. Although we have wars they don’t take place here. Any country would be fortunate to have an army like ours. The U.S Military protects our country so we can have freedom and independence.

Another reason why I am proud of my country is because men and women are allowed to vote. In some countries men are only allowed to, and in others nobody is allowed to vote. The people of the US are able to say what they want to say. We are able to say whatever because we have freedom of speech. In most countries they don’t have that. These are all the reasons I am proud of my country.

I am so grateful of my country. And just ask yourself, why are you proud of you country. There could be a thousand ways why you are proud of your country.
